Info

(Cuvier, 1828)

This Yellowtail Hamlet is not common in the Caribbean, a solitary fish that preys on its prey, crustaceans and small fish in a depth range up to 23 meters.

The fish is a solitary fish that stays at the bottom of reefs well stocked with corals.

The majority of these fish have a yellow tail, but by no means all animals, as the picture by Jim Greenfield on FishBase shows.
