Eriphia scabricula is a small intertidal crab and common on rocky shores and reefs.
The carapace is covered with small rounded tubercles, is pale whitish brown in color.The body is covered with purple mottling, the underside is pale cream in colour.The green eyes are widely spaced.The claws are brownish purple tipped.
