Very special thanks for the first photo of Apogonichthyoides uninotatus to Dr. Gerry R. Allen, Australia, he has taken the photo at Bali, Indonesia, where the cardianlfish is found in rubble bottoms in 17-70 meters.
This cardinalfish is only known from Bali, Indonesia nd from Mauritius in the Western Indian Ocean.
