The body is white, rhinophores are translucent with bright orange lamellae and the gills are translucent white.Thorunna daniellae was found on rocky bottoms to depts of 27 m.This species feeds exclusively on sponges.
Thorunna "daniellae" was named for the malacologist Danielle Fellows.
Similar to Hypselodoris brycei (size max. 50mm), Thorunna daniella (size max. 25mm).
