Pseudoceros sapphirinus Newman and Cannon, 1994

The backround colour of this nice flatworm is black with a blue margin. Pseudoceros sapphirinus mimics the colour pattern of the headshield slug Tubulophilinopsis gardineri.

The Sapphire flatworm lives to depths of 3-30 m.This species is a food specialist and feeds on small ascidians.
