Dryodora glandiformis ist eine Rippenqualle die in fast allen gemäßigten Zonen anzutreffen ist. Sie ist recht klein, hat jedoch sehr lange Tentakel mit denen sie Plankton fängt. Rippenquallen sind keine Quallen sondern ein selbstständiges Phylum (siehe Kategorienbeschreibung)
