Stylocheilus longicauda have a translucent body and grows up to 8 cm in length. Often prickly appearance.On the body are luminicent blue to violet spots with rings. This species lives among shallow seagrass beds and swimming algae. Stylocheilus longicauda is called as Long-tailed Sea Hare.This "tail" can make up to half the bodys length. On the foot is a sticky mucus,so can the sea hare stick to the flotsam.
This species feeds on algae.
