Patella pellucida Linnaeus, 1758

This limpet is found on eastern Atlantic coasts from Iceland and Norway, to Portugal. It is absent from the Baltic Sea, East Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands.

This shell has bright blue rays. The small limpet lives in at depths up to 30 m.

Patella pellucia feeds on the kelp of genus Laminaria.
