Milne-Edwards & Haime, 1848

Characters: Colonies are solid, rounded, often circular plates. Continuous broad shallow valleys radiate from the original point of growth. Corallite centres are vaguely concentric to plate margins. Valleys have one row of mouths. Columellae are rudimentary.

Colour: Mostly mottled grey or brown.

Habitat: Most reef environments.

Abundance: Uncommon.
