Info

Neostylodactylus litoralis Okuno & Tachikawa, 2000

Neostylodactylus litoralis was first described and introduced in 2000. As long as the animal does not move at its location, it is not perceptible.

Unfortunately, very little is known or has been published about this animal to date. It has been found at depths of up to 100 meters.

Etymology. The species name "litoralis" is derived from the Latin "itus" and means "the shore", alluding to the habitat at a remarkably shallow depth in the vertical distribution area of the Stylodactylidae.
