Distribution
Eastern Central Atlantic: Morocco to Gulf of Guinea. Record from India seems doubtful.

Biology
Occurs in shallow coastal waters to moderate depth, over sandy and sandy-muddy bottoms.
Feeds on mollusks and other benthic invertebrates. Ovoviviparous.
