Cantharellus doederleini
(Marenzeller, 1907)

Characters: Polyps are small (up to 50 mm diameter), flat and button-like. The orders of septa are well defined. Primary septa are thick.

Colour: Tan or cream.

Habitat: Mid-reef slopes exposed to moderate wave action.

Abundance: Rare.

Similar species: Cantharellus noumeae
