Pseudodiploria strigosa (Dana, 1846)
Diploria strigosa is the most common type Diploria in West Atlantic reefs. The species is very often the dominant coral in shallow water, where large hemispherical colonies often grow over three meters in diameter. Frequent "roommate" are Spirobranchus tubeworms.
