Luria tessellata (Swainson, 1822)

Luria tessellata lives in warm water and is common all over the Caribbean.This shell can be found in reefs, where usually hides under overhangs and can be found in caves.

Most Luria snails has an almost black mantle. Luria Luria tessellata differs from the other species by a translucent pallid mantle.
