Hemilienardia rubicunda (A. Gould, 1860)

Hemilienardia rubicunda is a strikingly colored, widely distributed, but very tiny and predatory shell snail that grows to a maximum of 5 millimeters.

Almost nothing is known about the biology of the small snail, the same is true for its prey, thus an object for upcoming scientific investigations.
