The small colony, which was attached to a horny gorgonian axis, had a height of 4.5cm. and could be discovered, photographed and collected with the help of an SUV.
The fact that this pretty coral was found around Hawaiii is most remarkable, as this region is very poor in soft corals.

Cold water animal, not suitable for aquarium keeping.

Etymology. The coral was named after the island of Molokai in the Hawaiiian Islands.
