Steromphala umbilicalis (da Costa, 1778)

Steromphala umbilicalis feeds on algae, that they rasp of hard stones. Dull greenish grey in colour with reddish-purple broad diagonal stripes. This species is absent from the North Sea coast and eastern English Channel.
