Conasprella guidopoppei (G. Raybaudi Massilia, 2005)

Like all species within the genus Conasprella, these cone snails are predatory and venomous. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled carefully or not at all.

Feeds on poylachete worms.

Etymology: the shell snail wutde named after Guido Poppe, Philippines, one of our image donors.
