Ovalipes catharus (White in White & Doubleday, 1843)

This Paddle crabs consume a wide variety of organisms, such mollusks, crustaceans and catching and eating small fish as well. Cannibalism of smaller crabs occurs as well and of larger crabs, especially if they have recently moulted.

Similar to Nectocarcinus bennetti and Charybdis japonica.
