Pericelis byerleyana (Collingwood, 1876) Laidlaw, 1902

This is a common, relatively large species usually found under large rocks in shallow water at Kwajalein and Enewetak Atolls.

Very similar to Pericelis tectivorum.

Pericelis byerleyana : marbled with brown rings, including roundish spaces of whitish colour
Pericelis tectivorum: white ovals on brown background
