Symplegma rubra Monniot C., 1972

Symplegma rubra is a colonial tunicate growing in sheets about 30 cm long and 2–3 cm thick. The colonies are usually bright red to wine-colored, but can also be yellow, orange, or pink.

Similar to Symplegma brakenhielmi.
