Cellana strigilis (Hombron & Jacquinot, 1841)

Cellana strigilis is a species of true limpet, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Nacellidae.An endemic limpet of New Zealand, it is easily recognisable by the 20 prominent ribs with weaker ribs in between. It is an algae grazer. Usually around the mid to low tide mark. Very common around barnacles.
