Janolus savinkini which differs by the rhinophores: yellowish with blue tips, and lacks the yellowish ring below the purple ring at the cerata,
Janolus tricellariodes which has opaque white specks on the cerata and rhinophores.
Sea slugs genus Janolus feeds on bryozoans.
