Lacuna unifasciata Carpenter, 1856

It is a very little shell about 1cm in length. Gastropods Genus Lacuna are often found in eelgrass.

Diet : detritus, periphytic microalgae, macroalgae epidermis.

In southeast Alaska, the diet of Barrow's goldeneye ( (Bucephala islandica)) consist a lot of species, included were shore crabs, shrimp, and a small snail (Lacuna unifasciata).
