Antonietta janthina is known from Japan. This species has a pink or purple body colour with numerous cerata. Rhinophores and gills are orange.Antonietta janthina is a small sized nudibranch and 1,0 cm long.It feeds exlusively on the hydrozoa Hydractina epichona.This hydrozoonpolyps are often found on sea shells which used of hermit crabs.
